Hi everyone, my name is Elvis aka ‘Elvis Shaggy’. I am a musician, a dancer and a choreographer. I am originally from Bujumbura, Burundi and I am currently living in Kigali. I became interested in dance at the age of 8, where I was inspired by the great artists, MC Hammer and Michael Jackson.

 

In 2000, I began to explore my passion for music by creating my own music, which led to the release of my first album Ndikwegeye in 2012. Available to buy on my site. A second album is in the making and will be out hopefully soon!

 

 I have a big passion for dancing, teaching and choreographing. I have worked together with various artists including the popular Rwandese musicians Charly & Nina. 

 

In my spare time, I also teach Jamaican Dancehall, Zumba, Hip Hop, AfroHouse and Contemporary dance. Check out the tab Classes to see where to find me.
